Summary: The integration of the Galician universities in the European Higher Education Area assumes a network of great relevance for the future of our society. The ACSUG originated a Pilot Project implementing ECTS credit for different degrees of the GUS, with the goal of the entire academic community not only becoming familiar with, but also integrating the new terminology and the basic principles of the EHEA. The Grupo de Didácticas Especiais e Adxuntos (Special Education Group and others groups) giving degrees of Early Childhood Education was one of the degrees that participated in this project, and now publicizes this monograph, in which it shares, in addition to the point of view of the student body, professors, and government entities involved, the results obtained and the obstacles found in its execution, especially in the implementation and development of the new instructional guides.
