Report prior to the extension of the associate professor's contract:

Only the merits claimed by the applicant corresponding to the activity performed as associate professor will be evaluated.

Evaluation prior to the acquisition of the indefinite associate professor's contract:

Only the merits claimed by the applicant corresponding to the activity performed as associate professor in the two prior periods will be evaluated.

CRITERIA

1. Teaching activity

1.1 Teaching

1.1.a. Teaching Performed (period of associate contract)

1.1.b. Management or tutorial for final project, degree, masters, etc.

1.1.c. Teaching in more than one cycle (if a doctor)

1.1.d. Coordination of teaching

STANDARDS

A- For the report prior to the extension of the associate professor's contract, the standards will be the following in each of the sections:

1. Teaching activity: A maximum of 50 points.

2. Training and teaching innovation: A maximum of 20 points.

3. Research: A maximum of 20 points.

4. Management: A maximum of 5 points.

5. Other merits: A maximum of 5 points.

B- For the evaluation prior to the acquisition of the indefinite associate professor's contract, the standards will be the following in each of the sections:

1. Teaching activity: A maximum of 65 points.

2. Didactic training and teaching innovation: A maximum of 35 points.

3. Research: A maximum of 40 points.

4. Management: A maximum of 5 points.

5. Other merits: A maximum of 5 points.

C- For a favorable final result on the report prior to extending the associate professor's contract, a total score of 50 points must be obtained; additionally, a minimum of 30 points must be reached in section 1, “Teaching activity.” Otherwise, the report will be unfavorable.

D- For a positive final result of the evaluation prior to acquiring the indefinite associate professor's contract, the total score obtained must be 75 points; additionally, a minimum of 30 points must be reached in section 1 for “Teaching activity” as well as a minimum of 5 points in section 2 for “Didactic training and teaching innovation.” Otherwise, the evaluation will be negative.
