Chairman: Ms. María Patrocinio Morrondo Pelayo

The Chairman of the Board of Directors is appointed by the President of the Xunta de Galicia, selected from amongst individuals of recognised prestige in university circles, proposed by the Minister of Education and University Planning, on the advice of the Chancellors and Presidents of the Social Councils at the universities in the consortium.

Duties:

The duties of the Chairman of the Board of Directors are the following:

Represent the Agency institutionally.

Convene, chair, suspend and adjourn the Board meetings and set the order of the day, as well as to lead the deliberations and decide draws with his casting vote.

Supervise the activities of the Agency and present any pertinent documents and reports to the Board.

Any others expressly ordered by the Board of Directors.
