CONVOCATORIA ORDINARIA 2011 PARA LOS COMPLEMENTOS DE RECONOCIMIENTO POR LOS CARGOS DE GESTIÓN.
Se publica hoy, 27 de enero de 2012, la Resolución del 10 de noviembre de 2011, por la que se aprueba la convocatoria ordinaria para solicitar la evaluación previa a la asignación de las retribuciones adicionales relativas al complemento de reconocimiento por los cargos de gestión y se abre el plazo para la presentación de solicitudes.
El plazo para la presentación de las solicitudes se abre mañana día 28 de enero y termina el día 27 de febrero de 2012.

CORRECCIÓN ERRORES.- CONVOCATORIA ORDINARIA DEL 2011 PARA LOS COMPLEMENTOS DE RECONOCIMIENTO A LA LABOR DOCENTE Y A LA LABOR INVESTIGADORA.
• Se publica hoy 11/01/2012, la corrección de errores relativa a los anexos de la Resolución del 10/11/, que aprueba la convocatoria ordinaria para la valoración previa a la asignación de las retribuciones adicionales relativas al complemento de reconocimiento a la labor docente y a la labor investigadora y se abre el plazo para la presentación de solicitudes, publicada el 04/01/2012.
Esta rectificación hace referencia a los anexos incorporados a la resolución publicada en el DOG del 04/01/2012, pero no afecta a las instancias (anexos) emitidas por la aplicación informática, que se entenderán válidas a todos los efectos.

As of September 28, 2011, the Resolution of September 19, 2010 of the ACSUG is published in the DOG, approving the ordinary invitation for obtaining an evaluation prior to hiring of university professors by the universities of the University System of Galicia and opening the period for presentation of requests.
The Resolution of the September 28, 2011 is also published, approving the ordinary invitation to obtain a report prior to special hiring of assistant professors by the universities of the University System of Galicia and opening the period for presentation of requests.
The period for presentation of requests for both invitations ends on November 7, 2011.

2nd Notice for the Implementation of the DOCENTIA Programme at USC: Seminar aimed at the Evaluation Committees
On 27 May, a training seminar was held at ACSUG for members of the Evaluation Committees participating in the 2nd phase of the Implementation of the DOCENTIA Programme at the University of Santiago de Compostela. ACSUG TAKES PART IN THE CONFERENCE “MODELING AND MEASUREMENT OF COMPETENCIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION”
On 24, 25 and 26 February 2011, ACSUG takes part in the international conference “Modeling and Measurement of Competencies in Higher Education” in Berlin, with the poster presentation entitled “Labour market insertion of the Galician University System Graduates. Competencies required in the current employment”.
Experts from various countries and disciplines will present and discuss the international state of research about the competencies in Higher Education.

EVALUATION PROTOCOL FOR THE VERIFICATION OF OFFICIAL UNIVERSITY DEGREES
The Evaluation protocol for the verification of official university degrees was created and approved within the Red Española de Agencias de Calidad Universitaria (Spanish Network of University Quality Agencies) (REACU). This meets the legal requirement that agencies issuing evaluation reports prior to verification of official degrees must agree to a common protocol (Art. 24.3, RD 861/2010). This protocol focuses on the minimum criteria and directives that each degree proposal must contain and will be supplemented by the guides that each of the agencies develops to approach the evaluation process in greater detail. | 09 de Febrero de 2011

ACSUG IS INCLUDED IN THE EUROPEAN QUALITY ASSURANCE REGISTER (EQAR)
On 18 November 2010, ACSUG has been included in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR), after this organization verifies that ACSUG operates in substantial compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the Higher Education Area (ESG).
EQAR has been founded by ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE, the European representative bodies of quality assurance agencies, students, universities and other higher education institutions, respectively, to increase the transparency of quality assurance in higher education across Europe. EQAR is a register that lists the quality agencies operating in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) which are considered to be solvent and trustworthy and to possess a good credibility.

ACSUG, ANECA and AQU Catalunya deliver the AUDIT certificates
On November 23, ACSUG, ANECA and AQU Catalunya deliver the AUDIT certificates, in a ceremony organized by ACSUG in the EGAP facilities. The ceremony, with the participation of relevant academic authorities and agencies representatives, is graced with the presence of Mr. Xesús Vázquez Abad, Counselor of University Education in Galicia. The certificate is granted to those SGICs which designs have been assessed positively. On November 2, 2010, the resolutions of the ACSUG Chairman of the Board of Directors were sent for publication in the Official Journal of Galicia, approving the invitations for proposals to request evaluation for allocation of bonuses in recognition of teaching and research work and for academic excellence in teaching and research. The resolution corresponding to evaluation for allocation of bonuses in recognition of management roles will be issued during November. The opening of the period for presenting applications, with consequent access to the computer application, will be established upon publication in the DOG, which will be communicated in this website. EXTERNAL DATA PROTECTION AUDIT
On 02 July 2010, the consulting company LOPDAT carried out in the ACSUG an external audit regarding the ACSUG fulfilment of the current requirements in data protection. The results of the audit conclude that the ACSUG conducts adequate management and has implemented all necessary measures related to data security and protection: files registered in the Data Protection Spanish Agency (AEPD), backup protocol, documents and systems support management, access control and password procedures, etc. | 14 de Octubre de 2010

The Environmental Management System of ACSUG is verified according the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS).
On December 2009, the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification (AENOR) carried out an external audit to check the fulfilment of ACSUG about the requirements of EMAS. As a result, on 13 April 2010, the ACSUG Environmental Management System has been correctly verified and it is integrated in the existing management system. After that, ACSUG has been included in the Galician Register of Centres Adhered to the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, which is administered by each autonomous community in Spain.
One of the main requirements of EMAS is to carry out yearly a public document, explaining the environmental management in this period. This document is called Environmental Declaration.

PRESENTATION OF THE PUBLICATION: “LABOR MARKET INSERTION OF GALICIAN UNIVERSITY SYSTEM GRADUATES 2006-2007”.
On Thursday 6th July at 12:00 hours the ACSUG´s publication: “LABOR MARKET INSERTION OF GALICIAN UNIVERSITY SYSTEM GRADUATES 2006-2007” is presented in the ACSUG . This presentation is made by both “the ACSUG direction and the Universities General Secretary of the Galician Government”.
This survey is framed within the labor market studies of the Galician University System Graduates, which are carried out regularly by ACSUG. The results obtained in this study provide information of the aspects related to the transition of higher education to the labor market: percentage of graduates working, employment search routes, factors valued in hiring, time spent finding work, type of contract and assessment of competencies required in employment.

ACSUG TAKES PART IN THE MEETING OF THE ENQA INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE (IQA) GROUP IN LONDON.
On 08 and 09 June 2010, the members of the ENQA IQA Group have a working meeting in London.
The IQA group has been created by ENQA and it’s composed mainly by internal and external quality technicians of the agencies members of ENQA. This group was established with the objectives of sharing experiences about practices in internal quality and management systems and fostering the collaboration between the agencies about this matter.
Besides others activities, a general meeting is carried out yearly. This year, the meeting is in London, for which ENQA has the collaboration of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). In the conference, the presentations of various topics are included, as well as debates and working groups. A contribution of ACSUG about “internal and external communication in the quality agencies” is one of the selected topics to discuss.

STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE IN THE EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION AREA
ACSUG carried out the adaptation of the document about European Standards and Guidelines into Galician. The Linguistics Service of the A Coruña University has collaborated in the translation.

RESULTS ABOUT TEACHING STAFF PRIOR ASSESSMENT It is announced that the applicants of the notifications of evaluation prior of hiring by the universities in the posts of temporary lecturer, assistance lecturer and private university teacher and in the call for applications about the report and prior evaluation to the exceptional hiring of assistance professors, approved both of them on December 15, 2009; can pick up the individual resolution in the ACSUG headquarters since March 30, 2010 to April 7, 2010. FIDES-AUDIT PROGRAMME. 3rd CALL FOR APPLICATIONS ABOUT THE DESIGN EVALUATION OFTHE INTERNAL MANAGEMENT QUALITY GUARANTEE SYSTEMS (SGIC).
The centres which want to take part in the 3rd call for applications about the design evaluation of the SGIC have a deadline of 22 February 2010 to submit the application. The period available to present the SGIC whole documentation is until 31 May.

ACSUG IS A FULL MEMBER OF ENQA
ACSUG has successfully underwent the external evaluation process carried out by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), association composed by quality assurance agencies of 25 European countries. ACSUG, ANECA, AQU Catalunya and the CRUE deliver the AUDIT certificates
On September 16, ACSUG, AQU Catalunya, ANECA and the CRUE will proceed to delivery of the AUDIT certificates, granted to those SGICs with designs, on being evaluated, considered well defined, consistent with the directives of the program and supported by an organizational structure able to implement it, to guarantee the fulfillment of quality commitments assumed by different universities. In this first call, a total of 117 centers will receive the AUDIT certificate, corresponding to 49 universities. The document, in which are involved many academic authorities and representatives of agencies, will also boast the presence of Felipe Petriz, general director of University Policies of the Ministry of Education.

THE AUTONOMOUS AGENCIES AND ANECA PRESENT THE UNIVERSITIES QUALITY REPORT (2008)
On 15 July 2009, the autonomous agencies and ANECA presented to the university stakeholders the “Report on the state of external quality review in Spanish universities, 2008”. The ceremony, presented by Gemma Rauret, took place in the Holiday Inn Hotel (Madrid). Representatives of all Spanish autonomous quality agencies attended the meeting. MODIFICATION OF DECREE 270/2003, REGULATOR OF ACSUG
On Friday, June 19, 2009, Decree 326/2009 of June 11 was published in the DOG, modifying Decree 270/2003 of May 22, regulator of the Axencia para a Calidade do Sistema Universitario de Galicia (Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System), and Decree 55/2004 of March 4, establishing additional compensation connected with individual merit in teaching, research, and administration of university teaching staff. EXPANSION OF THE PERIOD FOR DELIVERY OF THE SGIC
Because it coincides with the final degree verification phase, the delivery period is extended until September 15, 2009 for the SGIC design of the centers participating in this 2nd invitation to apply for the FIDES-AUDIT program. VISIT OF THE ENQA REVIEW TEAM TO ACSUG
On 18 and 19 May 2009 the ENQA review team, responsible of the ACSUG external evaluation visited the ACSUG headquarters to analyse in situ the fulfilment of the European Standards and Guidelines by ACSUG. The visit was carried out according the planned programme. More than 60 people attended the different meetings, including: all ACSUG staff, members of the Board of Directors, CGIACA, Technical Board, other universities representatives, external experts, students and external working groups.
In an estimated period of a month, the ENQA review team will issue a draft of the external report to ACSUG. Then, this report will analyse by ACSUG in order to communicate comments and explanations to the review team if it’s necessary.

FIDES-AUDIT PROGRAM. 2nd NOTIFICATION FOR EVALUATION OF SGIC DESIGN

EXTERNAL DATA PROTECTION AUDIT
An external audit was carried out at the ACSUG by an authorised entity as regards fulfilment of the applicable data protection regulations. The results of the audit conclude that the ACSUG conducts adequate management and has implemented all necessary measures related to data security and protection.
An audit will be conducted every two years to verify periodically the suitability of the measures and working methods implemented in the ACSUG regarding this issue.

2008 ORDINARY CALL FOR SUPPLEMENTS FOR RECOGNITION OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
On June 19, the Resolution of June 9 was published for approval of the ordinary call to request evaluation prior to allocation of additional compensation as a supplement for recognition of academic excellence, and the establishment of the deadline for the presentation of applications.
However, it is noted that today DOG was sent a correction of errors modifying the deadline for presentation of petitions, and instead of being 30 calendar days, it becomes 40 days; therefore, the final deadline is July 29.
