  SUPPLEMENTAL COMPENSATION IN RECOGNITION OF MANAGEMENT POSITIONS

    1. Intended recipients:
    2. Requirements:
    • Holding some of the positions listed in Appendix I of the resolution in effect. The RESOLUTION.
    • Ending or completing a specific mandated period in a position for legal cause prior to the date stipulated in the invitation for applications in effect.
       * Only the positions after the effective date of Organic law 11/1983, dated August 25, on university reform will be taken into consideration.

    3. Characteristics of the evaluation:

    • For this supplement, the evaluation is conditional on the type of position that was held. The point ranges will be published in the pertinent resolutions. The positions that are not collected in these point tables, will be studied by the CGIACA ( Comisión Galega de Informes Avaliación, Certificación y Acreditación – Galician Commission for Evaluation, Certification, and Accreditation Reports), which will decide whether or not to grant the equivalence, taking its relevance into consideration.
    • To have a right to receive this supplement, it will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 0.5 increments/points .
    • The evaluation obtained in each invitation for applications will be consolidable and will be added based on whole numbers/decimals obtained per position until reaching a maximum of 8 increments/points .
    • In the case of simultaneously holding two management positions, that of the longer period is considered; that is:

    Example : if a person held two simultaneous positions:

      • The first as Coordinator of COU from 1-1-2002 to 12-31-2005.
      • The second as Department Director from 1-1-2003 to 12-31-2004.
      • The computation of increments will be done, taking the following overlap into consideration:
      • The period to be computed for the applicant as Coordinator of COU will be that between 1-1-2002 and 12-31-2002 and 1-1-2005 to 12-31-2005. The period that is included between 1-1-2003 and 12-31-2004 will be computed as Department Director, since this position is of higher rank than that of Coordinator of COU.

      * Applicants may again request these supplements in each invitation for application, provided that a new position can contribute to the computation of the evaluation.

    4.  Formalization of the request:

    To request the supplement, a link is available that will allow you to have access to the aplication and complete the pertinent request ( appendix III ). The report of merits presented ( appendix IV ) will also be completed. Once these appendices are completed by teleprocessing, they must be printed and signed. They may be presented in any registry listed in the Article 38.4 of the law 30/1992 dated November 26, (includes our registry, the registries of the public administration, regional government office, post offices by “open envelope”, etc.) and also in the registries of any of the universities of the USG.

    The rest of the documentation that must be presented (on paper or by teleprocessing) is the following:

    • National I.D. or equivalent document verifying the identity of the applicant.

    • Documentation verifying ONLY THOSE POSITIONS THAT WERE HELD OUTSIDE OF THE USG , in any public university of Spain or Europe . They must be verified by official certificate of the Secretary General of the corresponding university or equivalent entity, or also by photocopy of the Official Journal in which appears the delegation and termination of the position.

    With regard to the positions held in the universities of the SUG, ACSUG itself will certify their verification, directly requesting the information from the pertinent universities. However, the official certificates for the positions issued by the Secretary General of the universities, or a photocopy of the Official Journal in which the delegation and termination of the position appears may optionally be submitted.

    5. Compensation:

    According to the order dated October 22, 2007, the amount that is established for each increment of this supplement is 240 euros per year. To have a right to receive this supplement, it will be necessary to obtain a minimum of 0.5 increments/points .

    For the effect of the compensation, the increments/points will be computed in decimals ( without rounding to whole numbers ) from 0.5 inclusive.
