Coordination meeting with the evaluation panels of the R&D&I procedures

The Consortium Agency for the Quality of the Galician University System (ACSUG) recently held a working meeting with representatives from the Regional Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training, as well as the coordinators of the expert panels responsible for the evaluations and technical staff from the agency itself.

The meeting aimed to strengthen coordination among the various stakeholders involved in the evaluation processes, share criteria, and advance the planning of activities scheduled for this year, including defining the evaluation calendar.

The meeting also addressed the expected volume of applications for the various procedures related to R&D&I. Specifically, it is estimated that around 190 applications will be received for the postdoctoral research grant program, approximately 30 applications to complete this stage, and more than 190 applications for research group and project grants, distributed across the different categories.

This high number of applications reflects the dynamism of the Galician research system and presents an organizational challenge that requires rigorous planning and close collaboration between ACSUG and the evaluation panels.

ACSUG thus continues to work in coordination with the various organizations involved to guarantee quality, objectivity, and transparency in the evaluation processes, contributing to the strengthening of Galicia's university and scientific system.
