The process started in 2009 is not considered an isolated step, but rather as part of an ongoing and cyclical evaluation process constantly working towards a continuous improvement. Therefore, as part of this dynamic process and after 5 years as a full member of ENQA, a new international external assessment process has been conducted to confirm ACSUG as full member of ENQA.
The process started with a self-assessment stage carried out by ACSUG, issuing a self-assessment report.
Following with the process, on 28 and 29 April 2014, the ENQA review team, responsible of the ACSUG external evaluation, visited the agency headquarters to analyse in situ the fulfilment of the European Standards and Guidelines by ACSUG. The review team met with representatives of all the Galician University System stakeholders: ACSUG staff, members of all the agency's bodies, representatives of the Galician Government, representatives of the Galician Universities, external experts, students, employers and external working groups.
After the visit, the review team issued its final report. This report was analyzed by the ENQA Board in its meeting of 15 September 2014, reconfirming ACSUG as an ENQA full member for 5 years, until 2019.
