The TEMPUS projects are European Union Programmes with the aim of promoting the Higher Education development. In this sense, agreements and collaboration activities are established between the European Union countries and also with countries of another world’s areas. During the cooperation, information and experiences about the Higher Education are shared.
ACSUG, aware of the importance of establish relations and contacts with other organizations, has decided taking part actively in the TEMPUS IV project “Modernization and Development of Curricula on Pedagogy and Educational Management in the Central Asian Countries (EDUCA)", coordinated by the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg (OvGU).
The main purpose of the EDUCA TEMPUS PROJECT is the significant reformation and modernization of the pedagogic educational system in three countries of Central Asian, in terms of its orientation to the best practices of European education area, especially with the:
a) Development and implementation of curricula, based on competence approach and ECTS credit system.
b) Inclusion of learning outcomes evaluation on pedagogic and educational management.
The ACSUG has participated during 2015 in the project in two different activities:
1) Site visit to the university centres: Tajik Pedagogic University (Dushanbe, Tajikistan), Kazakh National Pedagogic University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and Arabaev Pedagogic University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) to check the implementation of a master in educational management.
2) Online assessment of the curriculum of four university programs in pedagogy.
