• Relationships and information exchange with other quality agencies and organizations with activities related to university education


The European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education (ECA) is a project organization founded in 2003 with the primary aim of mutual recognition of accreditation decisions. ECA provides also plenty of opportunities for networking, mutual learning and exchange of good practices.

Representatives of member agencies are invited to take part in activities and meetings of the Working Groups, focused on various topics such as Mutual Recognition and Joint Programmes, Innovation in QA and Accreditation or Information Strategies. Members can also participate in European ECA projects as well as other events, seminars and conferences organized regularly.

ACSUG is a member of ECA since June 2013, and since this date, ACSUG staff is participating in the working group 1 about Mutual Recognition and Joint Programmes and in the working group 2 about Innovation in QA and Accreditation.

A representative of ACSUG was a member of the ECA Board between June 2016 to June 2018 and he has taken part in the Financial Committee from 2019 to 2021.
